About Imperial Healthtech

Imperial Healthtech is an AI-powered hospital management suite trusted by 50+ hospitals across 8+ provinces in Indonesia. We move fast, we ship often, and we care deeply about the doctors, nurses, and admin staff who use our products every day.

This internship is built specifically for students looking for an internship placement that converts to academic credit (MBKM / mandatory internship / kerja praktek) or serves as primary data for a thesis or final project. Full documentation — MoU, official assignment letter, final report, mentor evaluation — is provided.

What you'll do

  • Shadow live demos to hospital decision-makers — directors, IT heads, medical committees
  • Create product demo videos for our product features (CapCut, Descript, or whatever tool you're fastest in)
  • Write release notes & user-facing documentation in Bahasa Indonesia and English
  • Run user interviews with doctors, nurses, and hospital admin staff
  • Help triage feature requests and bug reports from hospital users
  • Support hospital onboarding rollouts — the operational side of going live
  • Assist in competitor research and product teardowns
  • Maintain SOPs, demo scripts, and the internal product knowledge base

What you'll learn

  • 🧠 How real B2B products get scoped, built, and shipped
  • 🏥 Indonesian healthcare system fundamentals — BPJS, SIMRS, hospital workflows
  • 🎯 How to write PRDs, run user interviews, and prioritize features
  • 📊 Data-informed decision making — basic SQL, funnel analysis, A/B testing
  • 🤖 How a modern team uses AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) in daily product work
  • 💼 How to communicate with senior healthcare stakeholders

Who we're looking for

  • Currently enrolled 3rd / 4th year undergraduate (semester 5–8), any major
  • Based in Semarang, or willing to be in Semarang for the entire internship
  • Comfortable on camera and in front of an audience
  • Strong written communication in Bahasa Indonesia
  • Curious & self-driven — you Google before you ask
  • Detail-oriented — you spot the misaligned button, the wrong date, the unclear sentence
  • Financially able to commit to an unpaid internship for 3–6 months

The AI part

We won't expect you to be an AI expert on day one — but if you've never used AI tools voluntarily, this internship isn't the right fit.

  • You're actively using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, etc.) — not just heard about them
  • Excited to learn how a production team uses AI for real work
  • Bonus: experience with AI video tools, prompt engineering, or any AI-powered automation

Nice to have

  • Background or strong interest in healthcare, biology, public health, or medicine
  • Familiarity with PM tools (Notion, Trello, Jira)
  • Video editing skills (CapCut, Descript)
  • Design skills (Figma, Canva)
  • Active in campus organizations, hackathons, or side projects

Logistics

  • Duration: 3–6 month internship (start date flexible to match your campus schedule)
  • Location: On-site Semarang, Jl. Gunung Sawo No. 17
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 08:00–17:00 WIB
  • Compensation: Unpaid. We accept students for formal internships that can be converted to academic credits (MBKM / SKS) or used as a primary data source for your thesis.
  • Documentation provided: MoU with your university, official assignment letter, final report, mentor evaluation, certificate, and recommendation letter
